Re: Installing Vista

You will be able to run Vista, but it won't be at top performance. You should get at least 2gb of memory for vista, but its doable with less. You should be fine, but you will get at least a few of those aggravating moments when you run out of RAM and your system practically locks up. I have 4GB of RAM and I've seen it a few times.

A few recommended system hardwares:
* 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
* 1.5-4 GB of system memory
* A graphics processor that runs Windows Aero (DirectX 9 class graphics processor that supports WDDM Driver, Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware and 32 bits per pixel with big enough graphics memory)
* 128 MB of graphics memory
* 80 GB of hard drive capacity with 15 GB free space
* DVD-ROM Drive
* Audio output capability
* Internet access capability
