If you connect to the guest with Remote Desktop (if this is possible
depends on the guest OS of course) then you can run the RDP client at
full screen on your host or other networked PC that can see the guest
network. You need the most recent RDP client version from Microsoft to
go above 1600x1200, but then you're all set.
I do this in place of running the interactive console because I have
felt it a more convenient way of working. THe guest is minimized and
has been given a small screen of 1024x768 only for certain admin
purposes.
