Yes, i have many webcams, and before this problem i can ensure you, i could
use them all together if i wanted. But usually i have at most 2 webcams
plugged, the laptop internal one and the vx1000: because i don't like the
internal one, I use the Lifecam vx1000. Unfortunately i cannot unplug the
internal one (obviously)

I have already tried to uninstall all, and even uninstall all usb drivers...
nothing changed.

funny thing: the internal webcam seems to work with the same vista driver of
the Xbox360 webcam. But image is upside down! But the strange thing is that,
with that driver it works, with the original asus driver i get the error 39
instead...
