Yep, it's that simple. The hardest part is just locating and downloading all of the drivers at the manufacturer websites.
Since you have this computer to work with for now, I would go ahead and download all of the 64 bit Vista driver installation files for your devices and copy them to DVD. This way you will have them ready to use if for some reason you do not have a network connection after installing Vista. When done installing Vista, you can install the drivers from the DVD or copy them to the desktop and install them from there instead. Either way will work fine.
