I am indeed the admin, I verified that with the User Control function.

I indeed tried to access GPEDIT.msc, but I receive an error message stating that it is not available with my version of Vista.

And yes, that is the driver I downloaded. The one for the 64 bit Vista version. That's the one I downloaded and tried to install... the one that gave me the error message "driver is not compatible with a policy enabled on your computer that blocked nt4.0 drivers".
