Why did you do that? I'm certain none of the regular responders
in this newsgroup would advise you to do such a thing.
You haven't said which email program you want to be your
default, so I will assume Windows Mail.
Open the Default Programs applet, then click on "Set program
access and computer defaults." Click Custom, and select
Windows Mail. Click OK. That should rewrite the registry keys
for the various protocols. You may have to restart Windows.
