Hi, I got it back by using system restore. I'll keep Live Mail in mind if
this happens again. I downloaded a program that might have caused the
damage so that has gone as well!
Thanks for the advice anyway, I get a lot of help from these newsgroups.

The next step would be to install Windows Live Mail, in the
hopes that it would restore your 'Send to mail recipient' function.
You can always uninstall it later.
