I actually get the logon prompt for typing in a UID / Password.

What happens, during the first boot after adding the machine to the domain, is that it asks for a UID / Password.

So you type in <domain>\UID & the password.

Then you get an error "the user ID or password are invalid."

Then, the Vista PC indicates that it is "shutting down" and reboots.

When it comes back up, it's not part of the domain.

If you are really fast you can logon as the local admin and the system will not reboot. BUT: It will remove itself from the domain.

This is making no sense at all!
