I tried at default voltage but I could not even get it post until I cranked it up to 1.45v and even then it was not stable until about the 1.5v range, but I did turn it down a little, back to 1.55v.
I can get it stable at stock voltage at 7 times multiplier, 1600FSB, 400Mhz bus @ 2.8Ghz, but it doesn't fell as good when your not overclocking to the limit.
Before I had the ASUS motherboard I could only overclock up to about 2.4Ghz that was on a Gigabyte 965P-DS3 rev3, so it seems that the motherboard can make a big difference also! |
