I have read with interest the tutitorial post (
The User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded.) and some of the reponses. My situation is slightly different. We have a new Vista laptop running Business version on corporate network. The local machine admin account and my network adm account work just fine, but whenever I attempt to log into the box as anyone else using their network account I get the User Profile Service message. There are no accounts to delete in the registry other than the two which work. I have not tried System Restore but will attempt that once I post this. How do I get the User Profile to recognize valid network accounts and create new accounts on the computer? I have not seen this issue on any of the forums I have visited.
