Hmm, the A105 is a much newer model (described as Vista-ready?) and so the
problem may be something totally different...

The pcmcia driver causing the problem on the M40 is Texas Instruments
PCI-xx21/xx11 CardBus Controller with UltraMedia. If yours is the same it
might be worth a try.

NOTE: If you have just finished re-installing XP it really would be a good
idea to leave XP alone and make a new partition for a dual-boot XP/Vista
set-up. As you will have to replace Vista when it is officially released it
is easier to keep it separate. (sorry if I'm stating the obvious or you have
other reasons.)
