I can't imagine Google would take the risk of breaching your privacy like that. They know lots of paranoid, or at least very watchful, people will scrutinize what their new browser does.
Maybe you gave some indication of your ID to the website where you got the quotation and they could look up your phone number. In other words it would have happened the same if you were using Firefox or Internet Explorer.
