Error Msg trying to send internet email Hi,
When I try to send an email via internet...like a website support or cust
serv email, I immediately receive the error message: Could not perform this
operation because the default email client is not properly installed.
In Internet Explorer, in Set your Default Programs, Windows Live Mail
Desktop is not in the list, so I cannot select it. Why isn't it there?
In Set Program Access and Computer Defaults, the Email program is Windows
Mail and Windows Live Mail Desktop is listed next to Enable Access under the
Microsoft Windows tab. Under the Custom tab, Use my current email program is
selected and Windows Live Mail Desktop has a check mark next to Enable
Access to this Program.
I hope someone has an answer for me because this is so annoying!! I have
googled this message and have not come up with any answers that involve my
particular situation.
Thanks in advance !
