Re: Acronis

Anne I can honestly say that I've never had any problem with System Clean Up
and I use it on a regular basis, especially prior to backing up my system.
Temporary files are simply that 'temporary' the only problem is Windows
leaves the files in the temporary folder rather than clearing them out once
applications have finished with them. I certainly would say that Acronis
System Clean Up is too aggressive.

I also use an application called CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) which clears out
temporary internet files, recycle bin 'and' temporary files (amongst other
things) and that is used 'every' day, so the temporary folder on my machine
is cleared by CCleaner just before I close down. Again I've never had any
problem using CCleaner.
