VMM 2007 or VMM 2008 beta?
Hello -
I am hoping to get some feedback from the group here.
We have Hyper-V installed on an application server. We have some VMWare VMs
that we would like to convert to Hyper-V. We are trying to decide between
installing VMM 2007 to allow us to convert the VMWare machines to Virtual
Server machines, and then import those into Hyper-V, or if we should use the
VMM 2008 beta.
Does anyone have experience with the 2008 beta? Is it reliable enough to use
for this purpose? We do not need to actually manage the VMs with VMM yet, so
we can hold off on VMM 2008 until it's final release.
