If you want to run 2 monitors, then your graphics card is more than capable of doing that. In fact, this feature has been on graphics cards for several years now, right back to the GeForce MX400 series (and possibly earlier). If your BIOS is configured and working correctly, when you have a graphics card installed it will detect this and automatically turn off the onboard graphics. Whether or not you have the drivers installed makes no difference as far as that goes since the card is detected during the POST before any drivers are loaded into RAM. |
