Which antivirus is it? For Norton, McAfee, and Trend Micro, disabling
the antivirus is seldom sufficient to correct a Windows Mail problem.
Do a trial uninstall of your antivirus. In case of McAfee and Norton,
you will also need to use their special removal tool.
If no improvement, what other third party security software are you
running, such as SpyBot?
Email scanning in any antivirus must be disabled, for reasons
