Vista Forums - View Single Post - BOOTMGR Compressed (slightly different that usual)

I am getting the BOOTMGR Compressed error when starting up Vista Ultimate x64 I have tried to boot into the disk itself and repair but it is telling me the repair tool on the disk is a different version than my installed OS.

If any of this helps these are my specs:

9800gt
4gb 800MHz ram
q6600 Proccessor

Also I cant access the Upgrade feature withou being on the desktop so at the moment it looks like my only option is to fresh install :/

EDIT: Its the exact same copy of Vista that I originally installed it with.
