Re: Team Foundation Server-ish solution for scripters ?

I'm just going to "second" both of these suggestions.

SVN works great ( see this post, particularly Arild's tab-expansion
script: http://www.hanselman.com/blog/PowerS...ubversion.aspx
) ....

But PoshCode is working toward being specifically a snippet, script,
and module -oriented system.

SVN (and any source control) basically supports a folder hierarchy,
and provides features like checking the whole hierarchy to see if
there are new versions on the server, or if you need to upload
anything ... you could also use Live Mesh to do that in a "trusted"
subfolder...

Incidentally, you can grab the source for the current PoshCode from
PoshCode.org (although I think the link on the front page might be one
version out of date) and run a copy of it inside your firewall if you
want, and our script functions (or cmdlets, if you're on v2) will work
against it.

I'd love to hear any thoughts you have about what features you would
want such a system to have. You can read about our current plans and
leave any comments on the PoshCode project site on http://CodePlex.com/PoshCode
