Just to keep you up to date I think I have a way, (untested by me so far), to move the Program Files,(or 3rd party apps,at least),and Winsxs folders plus the Virtual memory File which on my setup would clear about 16GB
the methods look sound although a little scary. It should also be able to move use user APPDATA and the Windows Udate Filestore, which are two other major users of drive space, but need more research
I would like to find a machine to try it on (other than my primary machine,
, just in case). will also try to condense each part into a script of some kind to ease the process. a lot of this is from people who have Vista working on an E-PC and USB sticks so does show what is possible
