Port 119 Error - Newsgroups
I am attempting to post a reply to a newsgroup with Bellsouth.net. I have
contacted Bellsouth Tech Support and my settings are correct. They say that
they use port 119 for newsgroup mail and the newsgroup is not accepting from
that port. I deleted the Bellsouth newsgroup account and re-installed and
re-subcribed to 3 different newsgroups and got the same error 0x800CCCA9 from
all three attempts - tried it different times. This is the error message.
