Go into the Ethernet controller on the XP computer, click on the TCP/IP properties, then go to the WINS tab and enable Netbios of TCP/IP if it is not already enabled.
Then set your shares. If the XP computer asks for a user name and p/w, it is usually what you use to log into your Vista computer. |
