Then if you don't have an antivirus program,
Avast Home is a good free prog.
It's free but you will have to register to get a free product key to use.
Also
Comodo Firewall Pro is a good free firewall prog.; just remember to disable the Vista F/W first.
Last but not least
Spybot-S&D is an excellent free antispyware prog.
