Sorry to hear you didn't have any success, I didn't think it was likely, but it was worth a shot.

Unfortunately, I can't tell much about your sound card from the image. Could you tell me what's in the Sound, Video and Game controllers tree. ie:

I'm pretty sure that the Riptide PCI Audio is a PCI card ie A physical card and the Connextant is your On-Board Audio.

On other note, you can safely disable/uninstall the Intel® 89215G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family on-board display adapter since your GeForce FX 5500 appears to be the card thats working.
