I assume the other computers are checking your mail via the web?
In order to prevent your Windows Mail computer from removing
downloaded messages from the server, do this:
Go to Tools, Accounts, select your mail account, Properties, Advanced,
enable "Leave a copy of messages on server."
Note that Windows Mail is not capable of handling free Hotmail accounts.
