Hi there.
I'm encountering a dual-boot issue and I hope I got into the right forum.
First I'll start to describe what I have done and then where I am standing at the moment.
I installed Vista 32 on my comp. and later on I have read the article in
this link how to make a dual-boot with Vista and XP.
A week ago I have formatted my HD and installed Vista 64. Of course the boot sectors were wiped out but I still have my XP installed on the other HD. So I have installed Vista Boot Pro and I now have the option to dual-boot again, however I get the error message that the '
ntldr' is not found. This issue is addressed in the article.
I have copied the
ntldr and the
ntdetect.com to the root drive of my XP HD as it stated to do, however I still get the same error.
My question is: Do you think I should copy these files to the root drive of my Vista HD?
Since these files refer to a 32 bit operation system, I'm afraid they might screwup the Vista 64 boot and I'll have to reinstall.
Thanks in advance.
