Trust just said try a different USB port, uninstal, check the type, either 15082 or 15082-2 on CD label and instal appropriate driver from their site but I just ran into an instal error, missing vnsp something.
However, using a different port I did do uninstal and reinstal yet again from CD and 3rd time round (at least) it worked! The Windows instal popup thing said installing Trust camera and not Basic HP starter camera this time. I think (but could not swear to it) I had the camera plugged in during instal, that may be relevant.
Vista is crud and had this sort of wierd thing before with other hardware. It might be worth you doing same, uninstall, reinstall, try diff ports, try camera in and out. Might sort it. |
