Aaaaaah..................free space is just that.....FREE Space.
There is really nothing there, so you can't just delete it.
What you must do is RESIZE one of the other partitions to use up that free space, or CREATE a new partition in that space.
Either will use up the free space and it will subsequently be GONE.
