This has been a known problem with the x64 installs and SATA drivers - I have seen a couple of options on the net, one being (of course) get an IDE drive - but one that *seems* to have worked for some folks is to change the SATA option in BIOS from Native to Legacy (if such an option is available) to get it to work.
Failing that, you could post a list of some of the options that *are* available in your BIOS and we can mull them over to see if changing one (or more than one) will work or not.... |
