Are you using DOS applications or Win32 console applications?
Assuming Win32 console applications, then idle.com won't help you at
all. If you're talking actual DOS applications, then IDLE.COM might
help, although as I understand it IDLE.COM is mainly useful for
manipulating the command prompt's idle cycle and doesn't work on all
other apps, so again, it may not help.
