Below are the minimum requirements for TurboTax 2008 software installed on a Windows computer. The 2008 versions are Basic, Deluxe, Premier, Home & Business, and Business.
- Processor: 450 MHz 32-bit (x86) or faster processor
- Operating Systems:
- Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4
- Windows XP (32-bit) Home/Media Center Edition/Pro with Service Pack 2 or higher
- Windows Vista (32-bit) Home Basic/Home Premium/Business/Ultimate
- Administrative rights required
- RAM: 256 MB
- Monitor:
- 800×600 screen resolution (1024×768 recommended)
- Internet Connection: 56 Kbps modem (Broadband connection recommended)
