Re: Blue screen and error messages trying to install vista 64 bit

DUH! ... I feel really, really stupid.Click the image to open in full size. I discovered the problem. I had assumed the CD I had was Vista Ultimate 64 bit w/Sp1 as it said so on the CD and on the case. Anyways I "assumed" it was and never checked. After going through all the steps you guys advised, it was sure pointing to not having SP1. Soooooo, this morning I did the simple check, right click on "computer/properties" and lo-behold, no SP1 listed!!! So I looked in system info, sure enough... no SP1 there either. Wouldn't updates pick up on that? Anyways the memory is working fine now.

The memory shows and works at the default settings 5, 5, 5, 18, 2T w/1.9volts& the recommended settings: 4-4-4-12 2.10volts.

What settings should I use?

Thanks everyone for your help.
