sorry aint been intouch .. and thatnks for your help .. unfortunatly my friend stays in ireland .. so i cant get my hands on his computer ,, i was helping him through msn.. we have uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it again heaps of times .. this has happened a few times .. he resorts to wiping his system and rebooting his comp to the factory settings .. this seems to work until he gets all the new updates from microsoft and everywhere else.. then it all goes pear shaped again... sorry to be such a pain in the bum .. but thanks for all you are doing
