The program shouldn't be expired. I've only had the computer for 4 months and installed it after I purchased the computer. Yes, the clock has the right date. The box says Norton Internet Security 2008 looks like.

Program worked fine until I did the System Restore, I'll have to do the reinstall like you suggested.
