Another thing that comes to mind with regards Norton and your System Restore problem, I believe Norton has some type of Restore that breaks the Windows one when used.
I'd have to go searching to find out the info about this but in the mean time check out your Norton product to see, I do know that LiveUpdate caused quite a lot of problems in the past. |
