Wireless is inherently slower due to data and security protocol overheads
and multiple wireless adapters sharing the radio bandwidth. There would be a
further reduction in xfer rates with each wireless node running on the
network. That doesn't take into account wireless devices attached to USB1
ports, which cannot transfer data any faster than the port itself can handle
(12mbitsps versus 400+mbps for USB2)
