: Henceforth, almost every question you will ever have about virtual

Well, I'm already having problems installing an application software. I
originally had only 256 MB of memory set on the VPC running XP Pro. When I
inserted the install disk and ran setup, the DOS window flashed, disappeared
and nothing happened. I looked at the software documentation and it requires
2GB of RAM, so aha, I cranked up the RAM on the VPC to 2.5 GB. (I have 3 GB
total on the host). Still have the same darn problem, DOS window opens and
disappears. Won't even install. It will install on Vista, but doesn't run
properly because it's made for XP. So, now I could use some suggestions.
Please and Thanks, Don |
