Yes - you've missed one out...

Between 2. and 3. above, run FDISK to create a partition on the virtual hard
disk.

Also, your boot disk will need to have a CD driver in its CONFIG.SYS and a
reference to MSCDEX in its AUTOEXEC.BAT...
