Actually I have a Similar Problem, Mine isn't Directx 9.0 but Directx 10, And i belive it has also to do with my Video Card, I have an nVIDIA GeForce 6200 (PCI)(BFG) and the drver always stops responding on all of my High Graphics games except for one of them. 4x4 Evolution2, instead of crashing like the other games, it gives me a DirectX error. But it dose allow me to play this game using Open GL, only game i can play atm, and for all of you who know the game, it does get boring...Fast! |
