That is so true. I added ram to my 300MHz laptop a couple of years ago to
boost it from 64MB to 192MB.
I got good at reducing running services. I could get to my desktop with only
32 MB's being used.
Unfortunately it is no longer mobile after the second hinge finally broke
and I am now waiting for the 32nm processors to come out before I upgrade to
a new laptop/netbook/mid.
