It is just like any other Windows Server 2008 installation. You install it
using the installation media on to a system that doesn't currently have an
OS on it (assuming you're not planning on dual-booting).

No, it means you need to use a remote system to run the Hyper-V Management
console targetted at the Hyper-V server. It is essentially a core
installation so there isn't any real GUI for you to RDP into.
