I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're trying to do, but there is a way you can specify what signatures are used with various email and newsgroup accounts. To do this click on Tools - Options then click the signature tab. Next to where you write in your text signature is a button labeled advanced, clicking in it opens a window where you can specify which email/news account to use the signature with.
