Once you pressed the set button Windows apparently detected a new hardware and immediately installed(or simply expanded and made active) one of the archived drivers onhand.
The generic drivers go more by type rather then any brand or model when those are used simply to make something work that wouldn't otherwise be available.
Hopefully the one found at the link earlier will work out since that was specific for that model. |
