Re: driver software download Take a look in the device manager to see if you find any vivitar items there. Take notice of anything with a yellow on it. You would right click on it to choose the update driver option and see if Windows can install it automatically.
You may see something listed on "other devices" instead where you right click on it and select the browse to option to see if Windows will see and install the driver you hightlight from the folder you see created or unpack the download from the first link to.
The thing to remember here is you are dealing with an old model from a company no longer in business. Sometimes you can get Vista to take some legacy drivers and make them work while others simply won't. At least you made some progress since Windows is naming something there. |
