Well, this seems to work out well with XP, but on my Vista there's a count of 4(!) bth.baks in my file repository. Which of them am I to change?
Since I've got the common "explorer crash symptoms" caused by the stack, there's a patch from toshiba:

But I wanted to get rid of the Toshiba stuff an I found another solution, that fits our topic quite well:
