Scorpio

I have a file called .mov when i open it opens with quick time but there is
no sound..

I right click to open with media player but I don't have that as a option
can someone help me?
I don't understand why some files are .Mov and some are .AVI comes from the
same camera?

I want it to open with media player if it's possible.
