I noticed that the VS2008 SP1 update DVD was *big* (6+ Gb) because it
has a large number of language folders on it.
I copied out the English folder to an ISO file and used that instead.
Installed fine in a virtual machine.
Of course if you really need all languages you could make 2 ISO:s with
half on each...
