Vista Tutorial - Need Help with getting aero

I cant seem to activate Aero. I have windows vista ultimate edition (32bit). I tried going to windows color and apperance settings, and in the Color schemes box, there is supposed be aero, but its not there. I dont know how to resolve this issue. If anyone knows how to fix it, then please reply. Thanks.

Check your activation under your computer properties. If it says anything other than activated, then aero will not run. Additionaly, aero may not run if your computers score isn't high enough or has never been run.

My windows is activated, but I think what you said about the Base score not being high enough may be the problem. My memory, hard disk, and processor scores are above 4.5 but my graphics is 1.9 and my gaming graphics score is 1.0,, so most likely thats preventing me from getting vista. Thanks anyways.

I believe aero needs at least 3 to even become an option. You can artificially raise your score, just google it. But, if your graphics card rates as a(n) 1.9, then your performance will most definately be adversely affected if you do use it. Also, make sure you have the latest graphics drivers as this does make a difference in the rating!
