Change the white window background

Hello!

Does someone know if it possible to change the white background that most
Vista programs seem to use? Classic appearance properties didn't change it.

The white background and dark task bar/border is a little hard on my eyes. I
could turn down brightness/contrast on monitor but then I have to turn it up
again in games and images. If I use digital brightness/contrast settings in
games I loose dynamic range and it looks washed out. (I use opera User Mode
feature to do this with web pages).

it changes if your theme is classic, not the AERO

Probably the reason to block changing backgrounds and other visual color
in Systems dialogs (like explorer) is to give uses the most readable version
