Vista - Re: Why is the Taskbar black when Aero is transparent?

I personally think it's got great contrasting features - the black dark
effects for when a window is maximised seems to compliment the glass,
see-through and "enlightening" feel to Windows just makes it a great
comparison.

well, i like the black taskbar but the contrast between normal windows and
maximized windows is just too much. the black look just doesn't look good.
Furthermore if you have costumized your glass colors it is somewhat more
annoying since you can't see your prefered colors in the window frame of a
maximized window...
